an electric fan continuously slowly rotated this form. the fan gave a gentle shhhhh sound to the gallery space. a bulb illuminated the form and cast a shadow on the wall that also constantly moved. similar to how shadows are never still, but always in slow motion as the sun walks across the sky.

how can glass appear so liquid? bathed in sunshine the material’s inner form is revealed by its shadow. concentric lines are traces of when the glass was spun into existence. light forms, reflections, defractions and sparkles are beautiful.

the colour white is a composition of all colours. pass this white light form through a prism, and you see all of the shades of the visible spectrum. the colour white seen on a surface, is all of the wavelengths of light reflected from that surface.
shadows are interesting. a shadow is defined by google as ‘a dark area or shape produced by a body coming between rays of light and a surface. there are beautiful words and definitions that surround the word ‘shadow.’

the inner part of a shadow is spectacular when coming from light shining through glass or water. what do shadows mean? they are temporal, constantly changing. made of no physical material, except variation of shade on a surface. are shadows an object? are shadows individual? or are shadows not themselves but light and surface?
objects are interesting. there is information stored in your body that you can’t access. what molecules are being transported through the cell walls of your spinal ganglia? your body knows this, but you don’t know this. what information is stored in objects? the objects’ meaning, history, being and knowing.
