cloud project

the cloud project consists of several individual works. there is a photography collection, a video, an installation, and an instagram page. in the making is a rug, another installation, a book series, a workshop and a scientific collaboration. how old is the oldest cloud? how does it feel to be a cloud?

clouds are one of the most beautiful and amazing phenomena on our planet Earth. gazing up at the sky daily and staying up late to watch the sunset is fulfilling for the soul. the love of clouds is perhaps one of the most shared and common loves within humanity.

~ there are floating things in the sky
~ big
~ made of water and specs
~ always changing (infinite forms)
~ blue, white, orange, pink, grey, red
~ sometimes the moon

this project originated from a lifelong love for clouds. the technique for capturing these watercolour-styled images : iPhone is zoomed to maximum, image is usually turned upside down.

studio mokii plans to continue this project until there are one thousand images. the project will be diversified to realise ideas such as events, installations, books, prints, lectures and unknown ideas.
