RIPPLE
we asked a ripple how she was feeling. She said she felt fleeting and momentary.
“Sometimes I could last for a long time, for instance from a stone dropped into a still pond. I would be a circular ripple that drifts away concentrically. Waving away until my energy fades eventually. I’m in love with the sound that I make. Humans only hear me when I touch, rock or another soundful surface. I hear the sound I make when I touch, water. A thick, aqueous, rolling sound that endlessly lulls me to continue to ripple. I never remember, how many of me there are.”
